Made for the heart of the home

A shared screen.
A familiar place.

Tartan is being built around a tablet on a stand in the kitchen. The tablet and stand shown are illustrative; this concept does not offer a hardware bundle.

Schedules, checklists, reminders and family notes form the core experience. Email scanning and pattern learning are early features still being refined.

  1. 1
A tablet that fits your family

Supported models and device requirements will be confirmed before invitations go out.

  2. 2
    A view for each child

Individual schedules and responsibility lists help make the next step clear.

  3. 3
    Start with the everyday things

School bags, homework, reading time. Build around the routines your family already has.

A few things you might wonder

Before you join.

Early days deserve clear answers.

Is Tartan ready to use?

Not yet for everyone. Tartan is in a small family beta: schedules, everyday tasks, reminders, rewards and family notes work today, and email scanning is still being refined. Join the list and we’ll tell you when it opens.

How much will it cost?

The original proposed prices are $6/month or $59/year for up to six people, and $10/month for up to twelve. These are planning figures, not a guaranteed offer. Currency, final pricing and launch terms still need confirmation. Joining the list would involve no payment.

Do I need to buy a new tablet?

Device compatibility is still to be confirmed. Before inviting families, Tartan should publish supported tablets, any browser or operating-system requirements, and whether phone access is available. Don’t buy hardware based on this concept.

Does Tartan have to read my email?

The proposed email connection is optional. Before it becomes available, Tartan will need to explain which messages it can access, what is retained, how imported information is reviewed, and how to disconnect it.

What happens after I sign up?

Your email goes on our early-access list. We’ll write to you when a testing group opens; timing and eligibility aren’t confirmed yet. We only use your email for Tartan’s launch, and every email we send lets you take yourself off the list.
